What is Waterloo In Bloom?
Waterloo In Bloom is a committee of volunteers working together to improve and beautify our community.

Organized in the spring of 2002, the group was formed to prepare Waterloo to compete in America In Bloom, a national beautification program that fosters community involvement, patriotism and civic pride through the challenge of a friendly competition between participating communities across the country. The committee has stayed together and grown over the past 7 years. We enjoy what we do & welcome your input, ideas and participation. Regular meetings will be on the 2nd Thursday of each month at the community center. Please join us and bring a friend!

This year as a part of our efforts, 50 hanging baskets and more than 45 containers filled with flowers decorated the downtown area. Twelve flower beds along Virginia St., at the seven welcome signs and in the 4 village cemeteries, all maintained by volunteers, helped beautify the village.

Sponsors are always needed
AND appreciated!

Waterloo in Bloom is possible only through the generous donations of funds, in kind services, or goods from our Sponsors.  Sponsorship funds will be used to purchase flowers and containers, soil, mulch and fertilizers and other supplies needed to accomplish our goals.
