The Village of Waterloo is Requesting Input on the Downtown Revitalization Initiative application at the Rotary Farmers Market Saturday

Waterloo, NY, September 14, 2022 – The Village of Waterloo will have a booth at the Waterloo Rotary Farmers Market on Saturday, September 17, 2022 to gather input on the Village’s application for up to $10 million in Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) funding from the State of New York. Those that participate will be given an opportunity to comment on potential projects included in the application.

Potential projects include building improvements, streetscape upgrades, and canalside enhancements.

The Village of Waterloo is applying for a 2022 Consolidated Funding Application (CFA) for the Wastewater Infrastructure Engineering Planning Grant (EPG) program to conduct a study for WWTP Improvements.  This project will evaluate the treatment plant and produce an Engineering Report with recommended future improvements for a Capital Improvement Project.

The Village of Waterloo has led a multi-year initiative to honor the brave service members nominated by family and friends who have received the distinguished Purple Heart Award with a new local Wall of Honor that recognizes this distinctive military honor.
